padawan's dwindling light ✨
Hey everyone, it’s been a while π
You know how we feel like we’re part of our own movies or series? Every time we go to bed then wake up, it’s a whole new episode—or even a new part of a movie trilogy after a big test in life you just went through.
After graduating during one of the most gruesome times in human history (read: the COVID-19 pandemic), I thought I was going places. Coming back home, building businesses, adding value, and especially, always helping those in need. It was a positive lens that I saw through that really gave me the courage to try and do my best.
After a few years, hitting block after block, the light that sparkled at the corner of my eyes dwindled. Now, nearing the possibility of World War 3? What are the chances? Life has put me in a place to realize that everyone is going through their own struggles, their own mud to waddle through; everyone needs a helping hand—even me. The person I thought would be able to help anyone and everyone whilst still being afloat and smiling. I’m still smiling, but we all know it’s just not the same. Loved ones would come to notice—even your brotherly or sisterly companions.
After being battered mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially, I’ve come to realize that without the sense of purpose I came back with and the support needed by everyone else around me, that sparkle might’ve just gone cold and silent.
I love to just sit by the corner of a park or at the window of a high-rise building, wondering, "What are they going through?"
I hope this post finds you well, in pain, or at the epitome of neutrality and nothingness—whatever it is you’re going through. I pray that we both get through this. God bless us all.
If you'd like to share, if your life were a movie right now, what 'episode' or chapter are you currently navigating? Perhaps we're all not alone floating in deep space.
